...is located near Hobor, Ghana, about two hours northwest of the capital, Accra. In this area, children live scattered in small settlements and have no school to attend. The nearest school is either too far away or the families cannot afford the school fees. This often results in child labor instead of education. Antonio bought the land in this area in 2020, and we are starting to build the school.

The second floor was built between late 2024 and April 2025. It will now house second and third grade classes. Work is also underway to build a kitchen and cafeteria.

...leads the project on site, which includes the construction and operation of the school. The chairman, Antonio Freeman, had the vision of providing more children with an education there, which is how the idea for this joint project was born. Through our commitment here, we want to support this important work in Ghana in the best possible way. Here you can learn more about our history and how we got started. The first school complex has now been completed, and school operations have begun. Further construction is planned.

GOAL
... is the construction and operation of a junior high school with a total of 12 classes. With the collected donations, our partner organization, "Kinder Zentrum International," was able to purchase an additional adjacent plot of land on which the next school complex will be built. We are currently planning this together with school director Antonio, project manager Eric, Ghanaian architects, and a German architect. The second floor is currently being built. These will be fitted with a solar roof to generate additional green electricity. Starting in September 2024, classes will be held in four classes: Kindergarten 1 & 2, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade, with a total of around 100 students. Depending on financial resources, the school will be expanded year after year.

Our partner association has found a suitable plot of land with an area of 1300 sqm. This we could buy after some difficulties due to the Corona situation in May 2020.
After comparing different offers and purchasing the necessary materials, workers could be commissioned in September 2020 and construction of the foundation could begin.
